Amenities, Policies and Rates
It is our goal to provide you with the most enjoyable visit possible to our home, and at the most reasonable cost possible.
To achieve these goals, certain operating procedures and policies have been implemented, as shown below.
Amenities
Whispering Pines has two guest rooms: The Tartan Room (Scottish theme) and the Nature Room (floral theme). Each
room has a 26" high definition color television set, driven by satellite with a selection of almost 200 channels (including 32
channels of strictly music, from jazz to Hawaiian to classical). Each room has its own heat control and a ceiling fan, and
clock radio. Central air conditioning is provided.
A 31" high definition color television set, driven by satellite with a selection of almost 200 channels or by a DVD player, is
available to all guests in the living room. Guests may watch our movies or bring their own.
Full service breakfast is provided from 6:00A.M. to 11:00 A.M. as chosen by our guests. Guests need to choose their
breakfast from the breakfast menu by 9:00 P.M. the evening before in order to allow the Innkeeper to get a good night's
sleep and to properly prepare breakfast. If selection is not made prior to 9:00 P.M., breakfast will be the Innkeeper's choice.
Whispering Pines is located on almost four acres of land in the country, adorned with more than seventy trees, four fruit
trees, five flower beds, two gardens, and two wild rabbits dedicated to trying to eat as many flowers and vegetables as
possible. Guests are welcome to walk the grounds of Whispering Pines and enjoy the sights, aroma of flowers - perhaps
even enjoy a game of croquet. At night, with the air free of pollution and no street lights within two miles, the sky is
spectacular, and can be enjoyed from the deck on the back of the house.
Bathrooms
Whispering Pines has one full bathroom and one half bathroom (equipped with a sink, water closet and a shower). Both
bathrooms are off the hallway. Please bring your own bathrobe.
Policies
Children: Since most of our guests come to get away from it all, including their children, children are welcome when
accompanied by their parents and no other guests are staying. Parents are responsible for their children. There can only
be 2 persons per guest room (state law).
Consumption of alcoholic beverages, any tobacco products, or illegal drugs on the premises is prohibited.
No pets are allowed.
Room rates are as shown below. Note: We are normally closed for cleaning and maintenance from noon Monday to 4:00
P.M. Tuesday each week. We only accept PayPal for deposit (use appropriate deposit button below). Balance on arrival in
cash.
